This lecture is part of the Astronomical Society of Glasgow’s winter programme, and they have kindly extended an invitation to members of the Geological Society of Glasgow to attend it. Many of you will remember that the speaker, Jonathan Mound, gave a lecture to our society in January 2013 on ‘The complex and dynamic inner core’.
