The '51 best places' interactive map can be found here.

The 51 places eventually decided upon by the Scottish Geodiversity Forum chart Scotland's unique and diverse geology – its rock sequences and geomorphology and, of course, culturally and historically significant sites are included as well.

The rich geological heritage of the Society's 'home' area is represented in the 51 by Glasgow's Fossil Grove and by Balmaha. Local members and readers may also lay claim to Flanders Moss NNR and to Callander's Geodiversity Trail, not to mention Arran and the Falls of Clyde, all of which are included.
