Waterfall over a Dyke at Campsie Glen
The Campsie Glen leaflet is available to view here, and provides a geological trail to follow along with illustrations of geological features.

Campsie Glen can be reached by bus from Glasgow Buchanan Street Bus Station via Kirkintilloch. The bus terminates in the square where there are some shops, a very nice tea room and an information board. There is a toilet block near the start of the walk at the side of the shops. The tea room has toilet facilities for customers only.

If visiting this site, a trip to the nearby Crow Road Geological Information Boards is recommended.

Take a step back in time at Campsie Glen! Here you can stand on the site of an ancient lagoon, and climb your way up through a series of ancient lava flows – a remnant of the Campsie Hills volcanic past.
