"The Clyde and Avon Valley Landscape Partnership (CAVLP) is a Heritage Lottery Fund supported programme which aims to conserve, enhance and celebrate the unique landscape and cultural heritage of the Clyde and Avon Valleys."
CAVLP is developing a geotrail "Shaping Our Landscape" with the collaboration of BGS. As part of that development, input from those with geological knowledge of/interest in the area was invited during September. Although that deadline has passed, you may want to visit the CAVLP website. There is a wealth of activity across this interesting and varied landscape, and projects cover areas such as history, natural history, education as well as the Geotrail. The website is well worth a visit, especially for those who know and enjoy such treasures as Falls of Clyde. Their website is here.
