World-first report about climate change impacts on geoheritage

SNH has published a report, thought to be a world-first, which found that some 17% of geosites in SSSIs could be at medium risk from climate change, while 10% could be at high risk.  Risks to the sites include increased erosion, flooding, rainfall and storm event changes and reduced freezing of the ground.
