Fossil Grove is situated within Victoria Park in the Whiteinch area of Glasgow. Strathclyde Geoconservation Group has prepared a leaflet describing the geology of the site and the Geological Society of Glasgow has published a more detailed excursion itinerary. Six open afternoons with tours of the fossil house and the quarry were held in 2024, from 12-4 pm on the third Sunday of each month from April to August, with an additional afternoon on Saturday 8 June (part of the Victoria Park Community Trust Family Fun Day). The dates for the open afternoons were:

The fossil house has now closed to allow extensive repairs and renovation to be carried out.
