Fossil Grove is situated within Victoria Park in the Whiteinch area of Glasgow. Strathclyde Geoconservation Group has prepared a leaflet describing the geology of the site and the Geological Society of Glasgow has published a more detailed excursion itinerary. Following a period of closure for extensive repairs and renovations, the fossil house is open again. Six open afternoons with tours of the fossil house will be held in 2026, from 12-4 pm on the third Sunday of each month from April to October; there will also be activities for children. The dates for the open afternoons are:
