Fossil Grove is situated within Victoria Park in the Whiteinch area of Glasgow. Strathclyde Geoconservation Group has prepared a leaflet describing the geology of the site and the Geological Society of Glasgow has published a more detailed excursion itinerary. Seven open afternoons with tours of the fossil house and the quarry are planned for 2023. These will take place from 12-4 pm on the third Sunday of each month from April to October. Children’s activities will be available at these. The dates for the open afternoons are:
