Strathclyde Geoconservation Group members have created a series of short information sheets to help introduce accessible local geology to a wider audience. New Lanark and the Falls of Clyde is one such site.
New Lanark is a World Heritage Site and the Falls of Clyde is a nature reserve managed by the Scottish Wildlife Trust. Footpaths make it relatively easy to view the remarkable waterfalls made as the River Clyde descends through a gorge.
