The last evening meeting of the session consists of a series of short oral presentations by society members, followed by desktop presentations, nibbles and drinks.

The oral presentations will be as follows:

Jim MacDonald – Hand me my Kalashnikov – some geological and mineralogical aspects of the Chornobyl catastrophe on its 30th anniversary

Eve Gilmour – A trip to Death Valley

Walter Semple – Gran Canaria

Simon Cuthbert – Testimony of the Rocks: a journey through time

Each talk, including questions, will last for a maximum of minutes.

Any display material, including laptop slideshows and posters, that members would like to bring to contribute to the desktop presentations will be very welcome.
