Scotland’s first national Geoheritage Festival runs from 1-31 October 2017 with a range of more than 40 family events, guided walks and talks across the country.

The festival includes a Scottish Geology Open Day at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh on Saturday 14 October, which will launch the “51 Best Places to see Scotland’s Geology”. The festival is part of Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology 2017.
